About Barbara

Barbara Scott is Broker In Charge and Manager of the CENTURY 21 Bob Capes Realtors Lexington Branch office.  Barbara has been with the company since 1989, starting as a listing and selling agent in the Irmo/Lexington area where she became a Top Producing agent.   In 1995 Barbara began training for the company and is currently the Training Coordinator.  In 2000 Barbara became Manager of the Lexington office, where she remains today leading that office to one of premier, top producing,CENTURY 21® CENTURION award winning offices in the company. 

Barbara's philosophy is "My job is to make my agents successfull....we are a team".  Barbara believes in a good old fashion work ethic and running a professional office.

From the early days of working her favorite clients, the first time home buyer, to now, Barbara adheres to her philosophy of "listen to your customer"....find out what they want, then find it and guide them through the sometimes complicated process of "the closing".

Barbara is a Lifetime member of the Greater Columbia Circle of Excellence, has received the PEP (President's Excellence Program) Award , has many years of volunteering with the School District, holding titles of PTO President and Chairperson of the Educational Foundation.  Barbara has chaired several committees for the Central Carolina Assoc. of REALTORS® from Education Committee, Contract Committee and Grievance.  She is currently chair of the Professional Standards Committee and was recently appointed to the Board of Directors of the Central Carolina Assoc. of REALTORS®.

Barbara has 2 grown daughters and 3 grandchildren.
