Born and raised in Washington, D.C.and the Northern Virginia area. While living in Northern Virginia, I spent many years involved in the moving industry and overseeing rental housing. For several years I worked on the ministerial staff of a Baptist Church. Throughout this time I also served in a volunteer capacity in civic and religious orgranizations. I am the mother of 3 grown children and 4 precious grandchildren and 4 grandcats! New Residents I have moved to the Columbia/Lexington area within the past few years and thus, have a realistic perspective as to what faces the new resident.
