About Steve W. Steven Sloop (GRI,ABR) has been a resident of Irmo since 1973 and a licensed broker since 1976, Steve has worked his entire real estate career with Irmo as his base of operation. His 15 year tenure as the former Broker in Charge of the Irmo office qualified Steve as the company's most experienced and successful managers. Steve has contributed a great deal of time and energy for the betterment of the local community. He has served as an active member of the Columbia Association of REALTORS®, including service on the Grievance, Professional Standards, Contract and RPAC committees. In 2005, Steve was awarded the Meritorious Service Award by the Greater Columbia Association of REALTORS® in a special luncheon ceremony. South Carolina's Second Congressional District appointed Steve as their representative on the South Carolina Real Estate Commission in 2002, and he is currently serving his second 4 year term. Additional affiliations include the South Carolina Association of REALTORS®, the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS®, the Greater Columbia Chamber of Commerce, the Irmo Chamber of Commerce, the Lake Murray/Irmo Rotary Club and the Lake Murray Tourism Association.
